The campsite is located in Arès, in the heart of the Arcachon basin. It’s a great example of a charming commune to visit during your stay. We also encourage you to discover Andernos-les-Bains, Lège-Cap-Ferret and, of course, the town ofArcachon.
What to see on the Bay of Arcachon
On vacation by the sea in the Arcachon basin, you’re ideally placed to take full advantage of this natural setting. Settle into your motorhome or mobile home and get ready for a relaxing holiday. Put on your swimsuit and head for our heated swimming pool or the sandy beaches, where you can swim in complete safety, sheltered from the waves.
Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted, with perfect conditions for windsurfing, sea kayaking or kite surfing. Explore the region on foot or by bike, discover breathtaking panoramas and visit places rich in history and nature. The Arcachon Basin is an ideal destination to recharge your batteries and get away from it all.
What to do on the Bassin d’Arcachon?
The Arcachon Basin is an incredibly rich tourist area, from a cultural, sporting and historical point of view. There’s something for everyone!
There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area, including Arès, Lège-Cap-Ferret and Andernos-les-Bains. A wide range of sports are available just a stone’s throw from the campsite. On land, explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike. On the open sea or in the Arcachon basin, enjoy water sports such as windsurfing, catamaran sailing or sea kayaking.
Escalad’Parc
Climb from tree to tree, using nets, monkey bridges, ziplines and Tarzan jumps to reach the top of the pines!
Kid Parc
Kid Parc is an amusement park for children aged 0 to 12. The rides, games and shows are designed to delight the little ones.
Aqualand
Discover 8 hectares of attractions featuring water in all its forms. With shaded relaxation areas, solarium areas surrounded by lush vegetation and warm, fresh water, it’s sure to be a fun day out.
Arcachon Basin Zoo
The only one of its kind in Europe: a huge bridge allows you to walk safely across the world of lions, reefs, waterfalls, lakes and other unusual scenery.
The Beetle
La Coccinelle is an animal and amusement park. In the Mini-Farm, it’s the children who bottle-feed the baby animals. La Coccinelle is also an amusement park. Rides, a miniature train, a multitude of games and attractions and a picnic area round off a pleasant family visit.

The Arcachon basin is also rich in cultural activities: the oyster festival, the salt meadows nature reserve, the Maison de l’huître, the Teich ornithological park, the Cabane du résinier and the markets to name but a few.
